Meet the artist, founder
Maja Jerkic is the face (and hands) behind Sacred Containers. She is a life & leadership coach, youth mentor, and art-based mindfulness educator. Maja started working with clay in 2009. What used to be a hobby has now become a way of life. Maja's pieces are inspired by elemental minerals, modern art, and the natural sounds of the California Coastline.
Maja's intent for Sacred Containers is to provide an antidote to our rapidly evolving relationship to technology. Sacred Containers offers an invitation to slow down, be in collaboration with nature, and reconnect to the unlimited source of innate creativity that lives within each of us. Maja teaches private group experiences using clay in the SF Bay Area. Her work is featured in San Francisco, East Bay, & the peninsula.
